Kumköy sells itself on the beach, and after four or five days of it a fresh-water lake with no waves and no sunbed economy is a reset. The water feels cooler than the sea — it is spring-fed — and the swimming breaks are from the deck of the catamaran into deep, clear water, which is a different experience from wading in off the sand.
An open buffet lunch is included, the day has no shopping stops, and the return journey begins at around 15:00, so you are back on the strip while the beach is still open.
