Cancellation, Changes and Refund Terms

These terms explain the cancellation, change and refund rules for bookings made through greencanyonside.com. If your booking confirmation states a different rule, the rule in the confirmation applies.

Important information about the right of withdrawal

For leisure services to be provided on a specific date (day tours, activities, boat trips, hamam and similar), under Art. 15(1)(g) of the Mesafeli Sözleşmeler Yönetmeliği (Distance Contracts Regulation) consumers do not have a statutory right of withdrawal. The free cancellation right below is a separate right that the Company grants you by contract.

Free cancellation period

You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time of the tour or activity. The period is counted back hour for hour from the start time, in Turkish time. For example, a tour starting on Friday at 09:00 can be cancelled free of charge until Wednesday at 09:00.

If you cancel within the free cancellation period, any amount you have already paid is refunded in full without deduction; if you prefer, you can keep it as an open ticket instead.

Cancellation after the deadline and no-shows

Once the free cancellation period has passed, the following applies: for cancellations made 24–48 hours before the start, 50% of the total tour price is charged and the rest refunded; for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start, for no-shows and once the tour has started, no refund is given.

For bookings paid on the day of the tour, no payment has been taken yet, so whether you will be asked to pay for a cancellation made after the deadline also depends on the rule above.

Changing the date

Provided you tell us at least 24 hours before the start and there is availability, you can move your tour to another day or transfer it to another person free of charge.

Minimum number of participants not reached

For safety and operational reasons, some tours run with a minimum number of participants. If that number is not reached, the tour may be cancelled or postponed before departure; we will tell you as soon as reasonably possible. The choice is then yours: another date subject to availability, an equivalent tour, or a full refund without deduction of what you have paid.

How do I cancel or change my booking?

Contact us with your booking number on WhatsApp or by phone (+90 536 603 75 84) or by email (muratatalay0721@gmail.com); if your confirmation email contains a cancellation link, you can also use that. We confirm your cancellation or change request in writing (by email or WhatsApp). Changes to the date, time or number of people depend on availability; if the price changes, we tell you the new price before the change is made.

Bad weather, safety and force majeure

Your safety is our priority. If bad weather or sea conditions, floods, fire, natural disasters, decisions of the competent authorities, a safety risk or similar circumstances beyond our control make a tour unsafe or impossible, the tour may be cancelled or postponed. In that case the choice is yours: another date, subject to availability, or a full refund of the amount you paid. You do not have to accept the new date. If you were going to pay on the day of the tour, no payment at all is taken from you.

Changes to the programme

For operational reasons the pickup time, the order of the route or the operator providing the service may change; we will tell you about this as soon as possible. If an essential element of the tour (e.g. the main activity or the destination) changes, you may refuse the change and cancel free of charge.

Refunds

No online payment is taken through our website. If you paid a bank transfer or deposit in advance and you are entitled to a refund, the refund is initiated to the method you paid with (bank account etc.) within [MISSING: iade süresi (gün)] days at the latest; how long it takes to reach your account depends on your bank.

Your statutory rights

These terms do not remove or limit your rights under Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection and related legislation that cannot be restricted by contract (e.g. rights relating to defective services).
